Free eye tests - are they worth it?

I have a voucher for a free D&A eye test, but I'm worried that they won't do their normal eye test. Someone once told me that free eye tests are usually shorter and not as detailed - does anyone know if this is true?

I used my free 'Nectar' eye test voucher for D&A the other week and have to say it was the most thorough eye test I've had since I started to wear specs.
Free eye tests :T D&A :T IMO
I did end up spending £170 on some glasses (needed some new ones anyhow) and got an extra 2000 nectar points to soften the blow but most importantly the glasses are superbLive long and prosper0 -
I was due an eye test recently so used the D&A voucher; the test seemed more thorough than any I've had in the past!
I 'paid' with my voucher at the end of the appointment, so I don't see any reason why you should have to mention the free voucher until the eye test is over0 -
My husband used a free eye test voucher for D&A and he was in there ages, he said they were really good and thorough and did not even mind that he was not buying a pair of glasses from them at the end.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0
