Manic depressive time barred

Hi All,
anyone seen the report in the Daily Express yesterday. Friends Provident have chosen to time bar a patient who was a manic depressive when he started to recieve reprojection letters. Despite reports from his doctor stating that he was incapable of understanding the letters FP refuse to waive the time bar although these would seem to be exceptional circumstances mentioned in FOS time bar rules.
The Quakers aren't turning in their graves they're starting to spin like tops!!
