Not that we can trust Google entirely. We went for False last week after searching, but here's what Carling reckon...
Last week we asked you if TYPEWRITER is the longest word that can be made using the letters only on one row of the keyboard. Well it’s true, you can type the word TYPEWRITER using only the top row of your keyboard and it is the longest word that you can type using any single keyboard row! 29% of you guessed correctly.
They obviously didn't search as well as we did!
Note that only 29% guessed correctly too- obviously those who didn't go through MSE!Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -

False (I think).
Over twenty have STUDIED at Manchester Universities apparently, but that doesn't mean they originate from there. Bit of a trick question, I'd say.0 -
To fair they seem a bit thick to be up to organising a trick question. I'm going true as they're a law unto themselves with these! :rotfl:0

They've added this to the page now:-
Last week's True or False asked: 'TYPEWRITER is the longest word that can be made using the letters only on one row of the keyboard. True or False?'
We now know that a number of 10 letter words can be spelt from one row of the keyboard such as perpetuity, proprietor and repertoire - as well as an 11 letter word - rupturewort.
However, when we posed the question, we thought typewriter was the one and only longest word! So this week, we're picking two winners - one from the True answers and one from the False answers.
Thanks very much to the ace Carling.com members that helped us out on this one - it is much appreciated
Absolutely gutted about Paul Walker - RIP xx0 -
So basically we have to guess what THEY think the right answer is, even if it's wrong. LOL!Life's what you make it....
