Help: Urgent Mortgage Enquiry

Hello

I am looking to buy my dream flat but have run into a couple of issues.

I am South African and no lenders will give me a mortgage with less than 15% deposit. I am on a 5 year work permit with 3 years left, earn over 35K per year and have an excellent credit history. Before my 5 year permit I entered completed a 2 year working holiday visa.

The property I am looking at is a 2 bedroom London flat @ £180 000.

I would like to take a 90% Mortgage but most companies are reluctant to Mortgage such a high amount to a foreign national...even though I have a working visa and plan to live here.

Is there any advice someone can give? Are there lenders out there that are willing to take the risk?

It is extremely diffucult to get started....

I think that there may well be a handful of lenders that coud look at this for you - just!

The main sticking points are:
1) Visa status
2) Mortgage amount required

But i think you should have a word with a good whole of market adviser who will be able to pint you in he right direction.
