Welcome Finance

I need help writing a letter to these people. My ex partner moved out 3 months ago and obviously hasn't paid them. They keep calling round at my house and its quite annoying now. I don't know where he has gone so I can't even forward them onto his new address. He has no family in the area either that I know about. They must know that he doesn't live here no more, as any mail addressed to him I have asked the post office to return to sender. Sorry if i'm going on here but what has annoyed me today was I left a note for the milkman and they had written all over it 'call welcome finance' and posted a letter through the door.

Thanks for any help
Amy

  • You need to write a letter. Keep it VERY simple. Just tell them that the person they are chasing no longer lives at your adddress, you have no idea where he lives, so would they please cease all activity, calling personally and phone calls, otherwise you will report them for harrassment.

If they DON'T stop, try to get the name of whoever calls, and report them to the police. If they ignore your letter, that is criminal harrassment, and may be dealt with accordingly.

If that doesn't stop them, you may need to consider taking out an injunction. But hopefully it won't come to that.

If there is any consolation at all, your annoying visitor may not have a job for much longer, in which case the problem will take care of itself. ;)

remember that these visitors have no pwer of entry unless they have a court official and paperwork , if it s just idiots from the dca ,then you have no obligation to talk to other than to tell the m to go away {phrase it as you like} they can do nothing , there are some great harrassment templates to send if necessary.
when you write ,do not bother talking , send it al recored as proof .

While you are at it, I'd let the Credit Reference Agencies know that he is no longer to be linked to your address.
