This is a large IDE drive but it runs at 5400rpm whereas the faster more modern drives run at 7200rpm.
If you don't need fast data access (high performance games etc) but just want to store music, documents etc then there is no reason why this drive should not suffice.0 -

Ideal for Sky+ as they need the slower 5400 drives
