This is a large IDE drive but it runs at 5400rpm whereas the faster more modern drives run at 7200rpm.

If you don't need fast data access (high performance games etc) but just want to store music, documents etc then there is no reason why this drive should not suffice.

£45.85 inc vat! not worth it IMO you can pick up bigger & faster drives on ebay for not that much more.

I've got the samsung 160GB 7200rpm 8mb cache disk and it is the best IDE disk I have ever used and very quiet

Ideal for Sky+ as they need the slower 5400 drives

No you can replace the hard drive with a bigger one thats the only upgrade option
