I bought a pair of boots from the states, I've been hunting for them for nearly a year and eventually found a stockist and bought his last pair. Sadly when they arrived today, I zipped one of them up to put them away and the leather came away from the zip. How can I fix them? I don't want to send them back for a refund, partly because they were the last pair, and also because by the time I pay shipping, the refund will be negligable.
Please help, I need to save my gorgeous boots!!

Try your local shoe menders. If its just the stiching thats come undone, they may be able to restich them. If the leather is ripped, that might be more difficult.
Hope you get them mended :-)0 -
It is worth trying several cobblers, I have had new zips put in my horse riding boots and not many places will do it, independant cobblers are best.
If you really can't find anywhere local Feet First in Chesterfield will do them by post! They are really more for hiking boots and motorcycle boots but they did my horseriding boots. They aren't cheap though so probably only worth it if you would be spending more than £50 to replace the boots.0
