I've done a search for Nescafe but could not find this.

Had an email that the nescafe beans are now worth double until 27th Aug.

I've loads of beans, since they stopped doing the cotton bathrobes there's being nothing worth getting, I did get 2 of the new dressing gowns but can't see them on the site now.

I sent away for the suitcase/travel bag and had my tokens and cheque returned as they are no longer doing it.

Thanks W2BDF, I will have a look at their site.

I too applied for this a couple of months ago and my beans were returned. I have had the dressing gown, kitchen scales which arrived with the glass plate missing to weigh items and also the shopping bags which smelt disgusting and made me urge.

I had a look on the site and there is very little there, mugs, books and notelets.

I was saving for the weekend bag too and when I checked the website found that I only had a choice between scales, mugs, bags, notelets and lots of affilate offers :( I sent off for the scales, but I don't think I am going to bother that much with collecting them any more.

The affiliate deals are rubbish, I'm sure you could find the codes on Hotdeals without needing to use beans. I doubt I will use the beans I have unless the offers improve.

The weekend bag was excellent, my parents have one.

  • I've also save lots of beans but unfortunately can't find anything to 'spend' them on. I really don't think it's worth saving them anymore.

I agree - offering double because the 'gifts' are p poor!!!! Ive got about 30 beans but not worth sending off - only liked the mugs and for £1.75 p+p I dont think they are good value - shame on you nescafe!!
  • :TI am another not happy , as i am addicted to nescafe gold blend lol!

Over the years i have had lot's of mug's , the only thing i really used, then they say so many per home, got round that by sending to my mum's once.
We have two weekend bags, one set of towels and one dressing gown.
I was going to order the smelly bath stuff this time as theres nothing else but now it all seems to have gone .
I don't have the money for shopping so why would i need discount codes for beans?
Ho hum think we all should email it and complain.
  • Yeah its a pity that the nescafe pick-me-up rewards have really gone down hill, I had been collecting beans for about 3 years, but I've stopped as there is'nt really any decent rewards to choose from, I find this really disappointing, as they had some fab things in the past. I managed to get the towel and slipper set first reward I sent off for and the towel is still soft(had if for more than a year now) excellent quality, also got the kitchen scales(I use that all the time to weigh my parcels oh and sometimes for baking ingredients lol:) the limited edition kitchen towels(those were lovely and came in a really nice silver tin) the 3 bags(mine did not smell too BAD, but I did air it outside for about 3 days:) The Bathrobe was absolutely Fab(made a gorgeous Birthday Present for my friend) and the last thing from them was the note set with envelopes. Oh well guess I cant complain it was good while it lasted. I agree maybe we should all send them complaints. BRING BACK THE GOOD REWARDS!:rotfl:

I see the new nescafe website is now up and running with the new pick me ups scheme.
Must say after saving my beans for this relaunch I'm pretty disgusted to find they have removed all the actual freebies and only left money off offers which mean spending to aquire!
Only thing of any use would be the free photos one but with the amount of beans I have I'd want to use the offer several times which is probably not allowed?!
    What do other collectors think?!
