  • if it is a girly club i dont know why they would be texting me right back saying thank you and put 3 lines of things and than there baileys website at the end..i doubt its a girly club..it could be that baileys and other companies use the same number...or rent it out at times..

best to wait for the post it will reveal all!

Nice one to all those who got one, hope it's something nice - sorry to those who missed out.

The deal with the phone number - its the same as many competition entry lines - a lot go to the same number (usually a 5 digit premium number) but its the word you put at the start that seperates it from other messages going to the same number (in this case you had the word YES which would put it into the baileys box or the other word for the olsen twins club).

I've had stuff in previous years off Baileys around Christmas/New Year so i'm 99.9% sure its genuine.

I got this message when I entered on 29/12/04:

Well done! Your gift will be posted within 28 days. Hope you have a fabulous Baileys New Year. Visit https://www.baileys.com for great cocktail ideas.

There was no source number on the message.

However today I got this message from +44786277301:

Uve won a FREE Baileys coffee pack.Txt back ur name & address by 25/01.Your gift will b posted 2 u within 28 days.Visit https://www.baileys.com 4 great cocktail ideas.

I did send my address the first time so I should be getting a pack anyway - the bit that concerns me about this one is the use of text language...

It does use 158 out of the 160 characters used in a message - maybe they were just saving money by keeping the text to one message.
  • thankyou, I've had my phone off for the past few days, and that message arrived when I switched it on .... suppose I better top it up so I can reply with my details ::) ;D
