BTW Before anyone asks - I know DH may appear selfish in having a 4WD and landrove seriously depleting resources - especially as his income isn't the best in the world, however, he used a huge piece of his retirement lump sum (most of it actually) to clear my £40K debts no questions asked!
It's jsut that work on the house has got a bit out of hand in the last few months and we have had to borrow more than expected.
We have had some good news re section 75 claim. While HSBC have not yet agreed a refund they did ask us if we were willing to have removed from the final sum of £8000 ish £200 for drawings for our extension. They have told us they will write to us next week.

Nothing to add today except that my old conservatory has now gone thanks to another freecycler. I was going to hire a skip - waho I don't have to
I've also found a local freecycler who is getting rid of some silver T Cut - I will need that when my lease car is handed back in 2 weeks
In celebration I will make an electonic payment of £2 to one of my cards after I pick it up tomorrow.
It's not a lot but it's great to see a list of credits (and remember the reason/motivation behind them) when I get my monthly payment summary (paper)
Happy bank holiday weekend everyone - next stop Christmas :snow_laug:santa2:
