accurate dates from creditors

I have been filling out BR forms [STRIKE]all flaming[/STRIKE] today.
I am trying to be as accurate as possible and am trying to give dates of when accounts were opened (incurred dates).
Did anyone else go through every company to verify when accounts were opened eg credit cards?
I've been on DMP so no-one has had the full amount from me for a while and I didn't want to get into long conversations with each company about re-payments etc.
How did others go about this?

just as I suspected, first stop was barclaycard-they have transferred me all over the world, finally ending up in collections. They will not let me get past the 'when are u gonna pay up dollparts?'
Estimations it is then, this is going to take long enough as it is......There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -
I had an old copy of my credit report knocking about which I used for the older accounts. The newer ones were guesstimates and have had no problems from the OR

Hi DP. Having swapped many cards around I used this
http://www.experian.co.uk/experianhome/?sc=410006&bcd=googlsearchlp1110609&bcd=googlsearchlpb101108
It's free. I used a card however you just cancel before 30 days. The info for myself was intersesting and useful but if you don't want the hassle just carry on as Phil and myself advised;)Better to be poor than a slave to wealth
