Best Reason for a Loan????????

Hi,

I was wondering, Im looking to borrow over a 5 year period and was looking into the latest low rate offers, but I know as soon as I put in the reason as being consolidation, the rates will shoot up.

Any advice as wot to ask for the loan for to get the best rate??

Oh really? I wasn't aware that the purpose of your loan dictated the rate.

Anyway home improvments lends to the stability factor ...and we all know how much lenders like stability.

i was wondering the same, if i say its for debts then surly they dont take the debt payments as an outgoing because they wont be there after you get the loan. but if you lie to get a better chance of getting a loan like saying its for the house then surly you also need to declare the debts, which in turn go against you because of your outgoings.
