Thanks to everyone for all your help, support and replies to my endless SOA and questions. Without this forum I would not have got through it.

Offically bankrupt as of 10:15am this morning.

The clerk was lovely. Really good at her job and a credit to the court service. didnt see the judge.

Went straight in and opened Barclays basic account. A/c numbers received same time.

Now just waiting for the OR to call (clerk told me this afternnoon) but think I will head for a nap and take phones with me. I really feel the need to sleep.....been a long time since I felt that!

LLoyds have been taken off reject list from phone. What shall I say when they call. Want them to know ASAP in case they are taking baliff action.

Just praying the OR lets me keep my car for work!

Before Lloyds get into any speil, tell them that you went BR this morning and would they like the BR number and ORs details. Also remind them that it is illegal to harass a bankrupt and that they now have the details, which are checkable upon the insolvency register open to the general public, you do not expect to hear from them ever again. And hang up quietly without waiting for a response.

Then jump around the living room going "YAYYYY!!"

Actually half looking forward to Lloyds calling....is that a bit sadistic!

Weird how this can change your outlook...I was in the big city after bankruptcy, child free and a all day parking ticket looming. All I wanted to do was open account and go home. Special offers in windows had no appeal. Went into sainsburys and got the three things I needed....no browsing.

Then had to wait for an appointment....the magazines which I would normally look at had no appeal...full of glossy ads and consumerism that I didnt need. Long may the inability to be seduced continue!

Well the ORs office has called and booked me a telephone interview for Wednesday....

Still cant get that sleep I need though...pray it will come tonight!

Congrats! Not so bad is it? And something of a relief I hope.
You may feel anxious regarding your interview next week but if my (very) recent experience is anything to go by once that interview is over your relief will be ten-fold.

I hope so dack...sure it will be ok, even if it isnt it cant be any worse than the phone calls from creditors.....talking of which Lloyds wont be calling anymore. they rang again today and think I took them by surprise....they even thanked me for the info and said I will receive no more calls!

I have received my confirmation email from CCCS to say that I can call them tomorrow to go through everything!
