best baking tray for cookies?

I made cookies last week, but my mums oven trays are TINY!! I can fit 2 into the one shelf in the oven!
I managed to fit 6 cookies onto one tray, but they all kind of grew into one massive cookie by the time a took them out the oven.
Whats the best size/type/place to get then? Any ideas anyone?
I've been looking on ebay for pink ones (for when/if i ever move out...i want all my kitchen stuff to be pink!) That way i can take it with me when/if i move out

Just a word of warning - double check the size of your oven BEFORE buying a baking tray
.
I bought a big non-stick one from ASDA - got it home, only to find it was too big to fit in the oven . The SmartPrice ones fit in mine ok, but they're not non-stick and they warp after a few minutes in the oven - though they do flatten out again after. I use silicon sheets (cut to size) to prevent dough sticking to them.0 -

If you want pink, try TKMaxx there are a few of them dotted about, Sauchiehall Street, The Fort, EK Retail Park, Silverburn.....can you tell what my problem is? They are fab for cookware, you can pick up allsorts, and are sure to get something longlasting for a reasonable price - but watch your wallet. Take cash and only as much as you can afford to spend easily. Do not blame me if it gets out of hand..........It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

According to the Wilkinsons Website, there's a store at:
42-48 BRANDON PARADE,
Motherwell.

I've got a couple of fantastic huge, solid baking trays that I got in a sale. I've just been to look at them to see what brand they are but there are no marks or logos anywhere.
While that isn't very helpful, I would say that the thicker and more solid they are the better.
I find a good baking tray one of the most useful pieces of kitchen equipment around. I have cut 2 reusable liners to fit mine, and they are stored with the liners on always ready to do service.
I use them for biscuits, scones, potato wedges/chunks, roast veg, meringues, fish, bread rolls and in the freezer for open freezing.0 -
Has to be vitreous enamel for me
Anything else feels flimsy and seems to warp.
