Apologies if this has already been posted and I have missed it 
, but I have just come across this webpage for National Downshifting Week.

It strikes me that most true OSs will already know a lot of what is on here (and probably quite a bit more as well!
), but for those of us, including me, who are still learning and trying to become more Old Style, I thought it made quite interesting reading... Its certainly given me some "food for thought" in the Piglet household!

Nice one. Not sure about "turn off the television, turn on the radio, play games and talk" though - implies that the radio is only good for background noise, whereas in fact it is often far more enlightening than the TV! . I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I have to say the Downshifting Planner on National Downshifting Week is a great idea for starters! It's a gentle way of going one thing at a time without trying to go the whole hog.0
