Coop Debit Card

This is my first post, I was discharged Sept 2007 and have found the Coop bank very good. I read this forum at the weekend and decided to call the coop.
I stated that I had an electron card with them and could I have the new debit card as I wished to use it for online shopping. 5-7 days he said and it will be a Visa Debit Card he assured.
He also added that all cards will be upgraded as they expire
Many thanks
Michael
Oh I am having a problem trying to any kind of Car finance....nightmare

Depending on how you use the card online some places will still treat the card as an electron NOT a visa debit as it's listed....
Hmm car finance will be a nightmare for a while particularly in the current climate...ever thought about credit unions? We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Micheal, have you cleared up your credit file yet? Do you have lots of little green '0's on it? Its not just BR that causes a problem, but not having enough little '0's can also be detrimental and having old defaults still showing too.
There is a credit clear up thread here. And check out the Sub-Prime threads on the Credit Card board - there are suggestions there of how to get the credit file back up and running. (well, trotting rather than running!!)0
