Sending CCA's today what should i ask for in addition?

Hi,

Am sending my CCA requests today and was wondering if i needed to include a request for anything else?

I sent gregory pennington all of my documents relating to my debts and when they find out i'm going elsewhere for my DMP i don't think they'll make it a priority to send my docs back, so i need as much info as pos from the DCA's who own my debts to pass onto payplan to set up my new dmp (also secretly hoping sme are non compliant!!;))

Also read on here somewhere that i should ask for some sort of authority form for chasing the debt or passing it on, could any help?

TIA

You should ask for copies of any 'notes of assignment' from the original creditor - if you ask for these at the same time as requesting your cca, then there is no additional fee.

  • Hi Missal! Are you CCAing creditors that you are already making payments to? Just wondered as I might have to do this if my DCAs play silly beggars over my offers of pro rata payments.

Are you going to maintain payments while awaiting the CCAs?

Don't forget to also ask for a statement for the accounts

    Absolutely!

I am on dmp at the moment (which is just being set up) so will pay as usual, as soon as there is a sniff of non compliance, i'll cancel the payments, until they sort it out.

I'm in a bit of a funny situatin actually, after coming on here was advised to cancel my DMP with gregory pennington, which i am going to do when payplan have my new ****FREE*** DMP set up!

PS yes all my current creditors, haven't took any credit out for ages as don't want to escalate my debt problems!!

As these forums say it's not about shunning your responsibility or dodging the debt (if that's the case as some people genuinely don't owe the debt), it's about these DCA's following the law they are governed by, by the looks of it most don't so they get what they deserve for not following the rules.

In the main people only want them to agree to a payment that they can actually afford not to write their debts off!
