new hoover/ vacum cleaner

Hi
I am after a new hoover. want one that has a high suction as i hate having dust on the carpets

will spend upto £200 for a good one

can anyone recomend any?

I'll second that, I've had a Sebo for the last 6 years, it's absolutely brilliant; I have pets and bought it because John Lewis told me it was better than a Dyson, and I definitely agree. Totally reliable, and brilliant at picking up dust and pet hair and just about anything else! It also knows if you're using it on carpet or hard floor, and adjusts itself to suit.

(And I've just googled 'sebo x4' and a company called 'red sale co' have it in stock for £199 plus 4 quid delivery charge!)
