To be honest, I am scared of being so mean that she will be in full blown labour before I do anything about it. I am not very sympathetic when it comes to pain....(ask OH!) as I seem to have quite a high pain threshold - my labours were very short....4 hours, 1and a half hours and half an hour...the only one that was 'long' was Chloe and only cos they induced me and that was 6 hours start to finish.
She seems much better now that she has physio......
Don't worry you lot I won't shoot off to the hospital without letting someone know....:TQuality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Spud :grouphug: I just read back-I didn't realise that you and DD had had a falling out.....
Its difficult having these conversations with our girls...I was lucky with DD1 and now she kind of passes on her wisdom with DD2...
I would ignore the 'tantrum' and put it down to embarrassment but I would take issue with her being a bit sneaky and going to her dad and him challenging you in front of her....
I hate that and it happens a lot in my house....(cos my OH is a soft old sook - who thinks I am a hard hearted biatch)Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Cheers hun. it does happen from time to time here too. I've not worked out if DD went running to her dad, or whether he just assumed I'd said something.
Either way he got involved in summink he knows nowt about - he wasnt there for our conversation, and more importantly to my knowledge, Aunt Flo has never visited him
He does undermine my confidence (which as you know isnt great anyway) and last night/this morning I was fuming, ready to walk out. I've calmed down now, and will just watch to see how the situation develops. Besides, I've got nowhere to go
I'm glad DD's feeling a bit better. Tell her we're all thinking of her xxxIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Well, I have a working washing line, I just can't find my flaming clothes pegs. So I'm drying my clothes on the clothes horse next to an open window. Thankfully, I have a south facing room so I get lots of sun.
Yeah, the list was a bit over-ambitious, especially considering I had a dentist appointment today that I forgot about until after I'd started the thread. No fillings but I've got to see the hygienist on Fri which will cost £31.20 on top of the £16.50 I've paid today and the £10 petrol that I got, both of which have gone on the c/c. And the hygienist will have to as well, as most of my wages for this week are going on getting my car serviced on Mon. But I'm not going to beat myself up over it. The amount I've reduced my card by lately, it's 3 or 4 steps forward and 1 step back and I think I can just about live with that.

ghost - arent you a student? Students in Scotland get free dental care as far as I know - as well as people on low incomes - there is a form to fill out wiht income details - may be worth checking with local NHS if you have a similar scheme

I've got a copy of one of those next to me, I'll be filling it in later today or possibly tomorrow.
I've just had a shower which seems to have woken me up a bit as I was starting to drift off. I'll re-arrange the washing in a sec then do some more of my essay while I'm waiting to dry off, then I can get dressed, do the washing up and cook dinner before I go to work. If I can get all the washing from earlier dried, a good portion of the pots washed, an actual dinner instead of just cereal and get 500+ words done on my essay, I'll consider the day not to have been wasted.
