that would be nice....she has just tried her tens machine and said its doing nothing...

She says its like period pains in her stomach....She hasn't had any braxton hicks so far....can't really advise her cos all mine were 'normal' labours IYSWIM...

She has a GP checkup later....so we will see what he says.....

I spent the day with DD1 with same symptoms. Samuel arrived next day! Do you know what you are having?
The Getting things done cd. Not listened to it all but it's taught me that it's now use worrying about things to be done in working hours at 2am if nothing else!

Sammy, I hope it's either nothing or baby on it's way! Or whatever you're supposed to say in these situations, I know nothing about babies and labour (and have no intention of learning!)

Bookie, don't hold out hopes that it'll turn up today, my change of circumstances form was meant to have been posted out the day I phoned, but it took two or three days to get here. Don't want you to get disappointed.

Its a beautiful day here, need to go to the allotment, go and buy some more patio slabs, go to the tip, take DD to the playpark or somewhere for a run around and go to the market. Also tidy tip of a house after yesterdays birthday trashings!

I dont really know Weller at all but she always seems really nice - wish she would hang around more...

Sammy - eek hope she doesnt have it on your kitchen floor , my nephew was nearly born in the car because they kept telling my sister not to come in yet and her labour only lasted 2 hours in total, 20 mins in the hospital!!

Tenmah - I'm a redhead too - I find a small dose of daily sun definitely helps build up some resistance to sunburn even if it doesnt tan me

Hi all.. Sammy hope everything goes smoothly for her

I have a list of things to do today all of which I've been putting off:
-Email OU re extending date for sending back registration form
-Email pensions people with updated contact details after they sent me a letter about bouncing email address
-Set up new Direct Debit for TV License
-Cancel a magazine subscription
-Add up current debts.. eurgh.. and write to DCAs re payments as I've got a bit off track with it all
-Fill in forms at work to request permission to do training courses

..and I suppose I'd better do some work as well!
