Just had a sad phone call, My Granda is the eldest of 5 Brothers at aged 85. We have just heard that his 2nd youngest Brother aged 68 has collapsed and died:(

Granda is natually very upset by it all.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Yeah, chips are good ;)

Ice in a tea towel - will do :o

I'm not that kind of mother - I'm the kind that leaves it a few days to see if things improve. Have missed 2 broked arms and a gangrenous appendix so far :D

    I'm sorry Lou.

Spud, ouch, hope it gets better soon.

Elfin - I'm EXACTLY like that, ex and sister both tried to ban me from buying/acquiring books. My sister says it's not normal that when your bookcases are full you just buy another one, but it's my flat and my life and I haven't quite run out of room for shelves just yet. And I do get rid of a lot of them, more than I keep anyway!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
