carphone warehouse online phone not sealed

I ordered a Samsung Tocco Lite from the online Carphone Warehouse site, it came via the courier City Link. When I opened up the bag I found that the seal on the phone box was broken?
Is this normal?
Should I be concerned or does it not matter? I'm just wondering if I should ring them and ask them to change it?

I bought a PAYG phone from them, it wasn't sealed and the sim and battery had been put in for me. I wouldn't be concerned unless the phone had been used :-)0

think they now do it to confirm that there is something in the box and the IMEI on the phone matches the one on the boxEx forum ambassador

It is fine, a few major providers do this now AND make a test call to ensure it all works before you get it
Absolutely fine !:beer:donstermonster0 -

if you bought it from the CW then yes, I bought mine on vodafone cos it was cheapest but am planning to use it with my current orange sim card. it is £100 in the acutal shop but just £80 on the website.
and yes some guy told me a little while ago (an employee) that they have all of their stock unlocked without me even asking about it.
if you got if from vodafone themselves then it would most likely be locked.0
