Hi, im new to the board, did a search and did not see this already asked so.....
Does anyone know any auction sites, private and government for the Yorkshire area, also has anyone ever bought from auction, is it true you need to pay 100% of the end of auction price within a month of winning any auction ?
Thanls

Yep, the contract of sale is formed on the fall of the hammer so you need to pay a deposit straight away and the residue by the 28th day. So you will need finance and survey arranged before the auction. Also need to have a solicitor possibly to check any special conditions of sale.
Howard Goodie's book is useful. Also look at Allsop's website as it has guidelines for buying.

Auctions are advertised in local papers and the Estates Gazette.0
