A debt collection agency had been involved in my case and to cut a long story short a DEO was out in place, the debt collection agency had the money on the 29th July they then didn't pay it across to the Csa till the 11th August and the csa have not paid the money across to me yet. I have put in a complaint. Its strange when the payments were for £20 they paid it across within 3 days but cause its £600 they have kept it?
Are they getting interest on this?

Hi pen1411, I had a deo from my ex and it always took about 14 days from the time of them receiving pmt from his employer to me receiving it in my account.
Its a pain, but well done that there is light at the end of your troubles and you've succeeded and will be getting the money, albeit slowly.
Yes, they would be making interest on the money, without a doubt.0 -
There is no interest paid, and if the payment was made from the debt collection agency by cheque, then the rather long clearance times were set by the bank as a condition of the CSA having a bank account with them. If the £20 payments were made by a different method such as postal order then they are recognised by the bank system as being as good as cash and are cleared almost immediately.0
