Reducation in income and IPA

Hi, both myself and hubby both BR, had IPA set to start 01st Oct for £85 for me and £65 for hubby, however I expect my wages for Sept to be about £87 less due to reduced bonus/commission when they re-calculate this how will this be worked out my surplus was £170 will then reduce this by my loss of income or reduce the whole payment by £84 also will they reduce my contribution on on hubby's by same amount

Hello Queen - I was thinking of you the other day and was wondering how you were getting on.

I assume that this is going to be a regular reduction every month?????
But the IPA - if the OR included both incomes for both IPAs then you would obviously argue that both should take into account the reduction in income now.

Hi Queen - I was wondering how you were getting on too! I would make sure to tell the OR you had reduced income this month - is it likely to last?

    Hi Fiveyearplan,

Its nice to know how many people care about other peoples situations its so nice, not sure if it is likely to last I work in finance so we have been badly hit, my OH was off work 2 weeks ago for 3 days without pay I havn't told OR about loss of 3 days pay the less they have to re-look at figures the better, I have heard people advising change in circumstances and they end up having IPA increased etc but if mine is going to be more then one month I will have to

Well if they pay decrease isn't likely to last you're right - best not let them look into figures too closely again!

Glad your OH is doing well. Yes, it is amazing how much stress we can live through and we don't even realise the extent of the stress until it is taken away.

Stress does take its toll on health - glad your health is improving before anything serious happened! It does make you realise whats important in life - health, friends and family - all the rest is just wrapping.
