Well i ordered a chinese around 8.30 pm tonight for delivery though the just-eat website .... I never had any problems placing an order and i put the code in at the checkout to save the £5 ....

Somebody from the order dept at Just-eat rang me to let me know that the order had gone though ok and said the restaurant would be emailing me later to confirm the order ...

They never had time to email me , as my food was delivered at 8.50pm ...

So all in all a great experience for me .... from my order until my delivery was 20 mins ..... and i have never used this chinese takeaway before ...

Full marks from me .... i'll be using the website again ..

Hmmm a bit annoyed actually

Delievery time was quoted as 45 mins and its took them 2 HOURS

And when we rang up to check the guy told us they were very busy, we asked if it was on its way and he slammed the phone down on us!

What's most annoying is the fact we used this particular takeaway a lot last year-never again after this

Sorry..this isn't a rant at the website, mind!

I registered my details on the site ..... placed the order .... then as i went through the " checkout " there's a place to put the discount code in ....

Are you using the code that is in the very 1st post on this page ? .... That's the one that i used ...

Have just tried the code again and it's still going through ...

Perhaps you should try again ...

I haven't got a clue to be honest on either of those questions ..... I saw a post on one of the other boards on here earlier .... and thought that i would try it on the " off chance " ..... It worked fine for me ..

I won't use this site again, I placed an order there yesterday, the first time I put the payment through, a little red box flashed up saying it hadn't gone through but no explanation why; assumed I'd mistyped a digit so I put it through again, it took an age to go through but this time it did, upon checking my card the same payment had been 'reserved' twice.

Oddly, just as I was pondering what to do about this, my phone rang, it was them calling me to confirm my order - that's not happened before - I muttered something about yes but it gone through twice - I was assured one of the orders would be cancelled and the money would be back on my card shortly, (which I will be checking for until it is).

Only one order arrived so that was a relief; I have ordered before, and the last time the payment took a heartstopping length of time to go through.

I will not be using this site again, the payment facility is clearly not functioning properly and based on postings above once placed the orders do not always go through to the shop.

And no I did not try to use this voucher, I felt quite sure it would result in a c**k up.
