Very good news indeed. Now make sure you stay that way and keep away from credit cards and loans untill you are sure you can afford them.
  • Congratulations

I'm new to all of this, so I don't understand all the abbreviations! Is BR no a Bankruptcy no. you get issued with? What does AD stand for?

Although I have received good advice from CCCS and it is recommended that I apply for Bankruptcy, I think shame and embarrassment is holding me back from doing anything about it. Also reading different info, there is every chance I could lose my car? It is a P reg Rover only worth about £300-£400, and I haven't got a good enough reason to ask them NOT to take it.....my reason would be to take my son to school (which is 10min walking distance), and to drive to work (which is around 5miles away). Although I could catch a bus there, I would not get to work for 9am, and I know it sounds pathetic, but I'm not a good traveller on buses!lol

I keep telling myself, don't rush into Bankruptcy, wait and see if my finances improve in the next few months! (currently getting income support) :-(

Needing your car for work is a good enough reason to keep! Why don't you start your own thread then people will be able to help - your posts will get lost in this thread. Just click on new thread button on front page of this bankruptcy forum.
