Got tickets!!!!! Long story but managed to get 2 tickets next to each other (paying normal price) so here goes saving every penny off QuidCo to "pay" for the ticket!! But I CAN and WILL do it.

Also whereabouts do you live? For the last couple of years I've always forked out for trains (though I've done the megabus a couple of times, but 6 hrs on a cramped bus = not good)
however, for going to london in may I've booked a flight, ryanair are doing .14p seats at the min so all in all I paid £24.something for a return to london from blackpool, about thirty quid cheaper than any plane ticket!
