some people are saying just to keep the NHS on my application form because i have been there over 3 years now but its hard to loss 22 years employment.

i think i am going down the dismissed route and then try and be truthful at the meeting,if i get one...

I'd just be honest. I was dismissed in July and have put the job on application forms and my CV despite only working there for 2 months.

I have had 2 interviews since, so although it may have put some people off, it hasn't for everyone. I will continue to list it until I find another job, then it will be put in the past. It's a bit more difficult for you as you were there for such a long time.

strange thing happened on friday nite,i handed in a application form to a store not thinking i would even get a chance, and she said we only have evening work, which i said sorry but i allready have a evening job.she then said well what happened so i told her the truth and she said if something came up then she will be in touch.also spoke to another guy who runs a shop in side the hospital told him what happened and he said something might be coming up in the next month or two.
so i am thinking that dissmissal is the best route then if they ask then i shall tell them in the interview.

    all the best stevo.
  • good luck with your endeavours i am myself struggling after being dismissed after making a complaint against my manager and deputy. Have had one job offer withdrawn because of a bad reference so it is worrying but your replies have made me feel more positive about my situation and I hope things improve for both of us soon.
I too think that honesty is the best policy.
    good luck

Of course being honest is the best route - take it from people who have had experience.
