Mortgage on Temp Contract

Hi,
I'm looking to get a house with my girlfriend next year. We are first time buyers and are looking for a house in the region of £150k, we have a 10% deposit.
She is starting a new job in Sept as a teacher but it is only a temp contract for a year. She will be on £21k.
I am on £28k. We haven't enquired about morgtgages yet and was wondering if we would still be able to get a mortgage with my girlfriend only having a temp contract?
Can anyone help?
