As usual, select the 90-day return option and you get the advertised price of £268.99 delivered.

You have to change the support option from 3 years to either 1 year, or the 90 day collect and return.

It's £254.37 for the 90 day support option, and that includes a 15" LCD monitor - thats pretty cheap!
Why pay more than you have to?

Im in this trade , and this si a good price for a system that in myexpieriance is well built.

Hoping I can find the cash in the business pot for one as I need a second PC for my backups and contngency use.

I know I should tray nad shift the cash to debt , but the problem is , that if this PC dies , I will need a replacement same day. The fluctuations in parts make it unrealistic to hold stock and I cant build this cheaper

Not as good as the 3100 they had on offer for £254 a few weeks ago, but still a good deal.

Desperatley after the 3100 and awaiting the next deal to get one... can anyone recommend these or speak of experience with them?

I've got one of the 3100s (or rather one of my sons has) and it's OK, but limited in terms of upgrade path. You can only put in an FX6200 PCI graphics card at best, so not a great gaming machine.
However it's VERY quiet and performs very well for things like word processing, internet and basic non-3D games. In terms of performance it gets a score of about 3,250 in 3DMark2001SE with the onboard graphics and about 6,500 with an FX6200 128MB graphics card. This means it plays games at reasonable resolutions without too much problems.

Can anyone advised concerning this , I brought a laptop with this 90 days C&R .. but I thought this was a case that for the 1st 90 days that Dell would arrange for it to be picked up and fix it . However after the 1st 90 days , it is up to the person concerned (buyer) to send it back (for the remaining 9 months) .. is this the case ..

there seems to be mixed opinions about this ... but I thought if u got something in the UK like this , then it must have a year's warrenty.

    Any one help ..

Its more for secondary school children, all I want to do is put a wireless pci network card in... so should be ok?

I assume it has a network point?

Does have a network point if you want to use it wired. My son's has a wireless USB connector and that runs on our wireless network fine. You could put a wireless PCI card in instead and it would work just as well.

  • Re the d04115 deal for £269, there is a free upgrade to the Ultrasharp 15" monitor, so don't forget to do that, it's much better than the standard 15 inch.
