Ultra Cheap DVD player £19.99 (1 day only)

but surely that's a repair/replace warranty rather than full refund 'just 'cos you've found a cheaper one' warranty?
If it's the latter then I've been buying electronics stuff at the wrong place!
If you go in and say "my tv (or dvd etc) doesn't work right they offer two options a: replacement b: full cash refund
This is why its a one year warranty now.

For the record, Ronin DVD players are rather good in fact, and the only difference between multiregion 'out of the box' and this one is that with the 'out of the box' one some bloke in Taiwan put the code in! - they're all built identically then programmed to the region they're being sent to before being boxed.
But, the Richer Sounds thing's a good point, so do pop along there if you're in the market for a new DVD player. The manager's specials in there often have some real gems, picked up a home cinema amp in there for 19.99 once. Was told at the til 'you know this is just a processor not an amp, don't you?'
I replied 'yes that's fine, that's all I want' but of course I had noted that it had speaker connectors on the back, so twenty quid later I was at home with a really good home cinema system, cobbled together with a bunch of old speakers from Hi-Fis of christmas past:)0 -
I think this Ronin model is the one without RGB ???
Maybe not hugely important to a lot of people but the lack of RGB often limits the picture quality you can get if you are using, say, a portable or budget TV. These TVs will give you far better results with RGB than S-Video IME. Just might be worth considering before taking the plunge to buy one and then maybe be disappointed!0
