Hello
Im ok just feeling a bit dispondant at everything. Doc did a blodd test suspecting an underactive thyroid but came back all clear. Nowt wrong. Thats good but I kinda which there was something physical making me so lazy and apathetic at the moment. Im fed up of the "being depressed". Dont think I am or I shouldnt be. People are far worse off than me. In fact other than a few annoyances things are good.
OH has an appointment at the hospital in the morning for specialist xrays on his teeth. He will need a mix of dentist and hospital treatment. For those that didnt see my brief note of sympathy of M21s thread. OH had an infection that had got into the bone . At least its being sorted so thats good news.
Kids ok cheaky as ever and Im fed up of ruddy nits.
Me - well work annoying money saving ......errrrr no idea to scared to look at the figures. Even being careful things never seem to go as planned. Doesnt take many wobbles to add up.
Im sorry Ive not been posting to support. I have "in mind "just cant seem to get the right words together to type.:j0 -
ahhh poor you. It's awful when feeling low and not knowing why.Maybe taking a decent b vitamin supplement may help..in my younger years my Dr always swore by them. You may be short of vitamins in your diet.
I can sympathise with your DH..I've just had tooth problems as well.0 -
hi KP glad you're okay( ish) . I too am going for bloods to check my thyroid. I had problems before with it being overactive, then underactive. I took thyroxin for a few months and it was all okay after that. I found out I had thyroid problems when i had a really sore foot strangely enough. For weeks now my foot has been agony and I kept meaning to go to docs but haven't bothered. My internal temperature has gone haywire. Body can't seem to decide if it is too hot or too cold and the itchy skin I have is driving me crazy. I am scratching so much that my skin is coming up in weals. So I am the same as you and hoping that thyroid is my problem as at least then it can be fixed.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Oh doesnt sound nice. Unfortunately or fortunately mine seems to be working fine!
Just done budget so good news is that I only overspent by £100 in feb. Not great as it means I havent got home insurance sorted but still £100 better then Jan.
If I stick to budget this month I could clear £500 of the xmas hangover. Debt at the moment £12649 29% paid off. Hoping when I get to 30 this time I dont have my usual back track. That doesnt include the contents insurance so need to look for that ASAP.
Rules for the month are
Keep a spending diary
Home made lunches or ones where I can claim back
Start free daily scratch cards and surveys again
Sell some bits on ebay
Get contents including cash back if the best deal.:j0 -

Well so far things ok. Budget showing Ill be circa 140 short but thats due to 109 eon bill I forgot about from where I switched at xmas and an extra 100 or so on diesel as I out loads this month but that will be reclaimable.
DD1 has had 15 for some tesco jeans she really has run out of bottoms so couldnt hold off anymore. Spent 20 on a second hand bike for the girls but got some free nice clothes for DD1 so all in all a good deal.
ISOM you saw munchkin (DD2) on facebook. I was a bit wary of letting her on but if I keep an eye out Im sure she'll be ok its just for the farm and fish things - way over my head but she enjoys it.
I have had a productive weekend (for me!!)so Ill going to list it so hopefully it will help motivate me.
Defrosted both freezers
bathed and combed DD2 and DS
Baked muffins
Washed up and wiped side down
Read with DS
Rang Mum and Sis as I havent spoken to them in ages
Did the online shop
Not much but much better than I have been doing for the last few months.:j0 -
Hi KP
hey you had a busy weekend. Hope you took some time out to get some of that lovely sun on your face. What a difference a sunny day makes
Really pleased that you seem to be a bit more chirpier than of late. It's like everything can be on an even keel one minute then the next...we just have to pick ourselves up and keep on going. Keep that focus of being debt free in your mind KP. It won't always be like this and every single day, no matter how cr*p sometimes it seems, is taking you nearer to it. Then whoa KP you'll be tripping the light fantastic and you WILL get there, I have every faith in you

I'm a big fan of 'what I have done' lists, I think it's a great boost when you think you haven't gotten much done - sounds very productive!Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63
