Hi all
Starting to reach agreements with my creditors , though mad a bit of a mess up with GE Money.
I agreed to pay £12 per month to them. And they said no problem as long as set up a standing order. Did so , payment went out no problem
Today I get a letter saying they want me to pay £54 or arrears and the offer of £12 has been withdrawn.
A bit bewildered I called and they tell me they havent received payment. Checked with the bank and the payment has gone out , but , to a refernce number which is one digit different to my reference number. I hit a 4 instaed of a 3.
So be careful all. I now have to go back and say "Hey guys , I made a payment but to account ********* instead of my account. Can I make a £12 payment by switch now and then a standing order on 6th May."
Just hope they say yes , or can track the missing £12

I'm sure they'll be able to get it back if you explain what's happened0

They should be able to track it, as someone was making £100 mystery payments on my fiances card and when he pointed it out to them, they tracked who had paid it and transfered the money to the right account0

Exactly that happened to me and GE Money. I was paying a standing order to another GE Money account instead of the one I was supposed to.
It took a while to get sorted but it did.
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0
