London: Cheapest Haircuts

I was amazed to find out that Martin spends £6 to have a haircut in central London so I went on the task to better it with second thoughts after a couple of discoveries.
I eventually found two closer to home (W12) at £6 and £4.50. The problem is whether to trust them or not.
I would appreciate any ideas of how low one would be prepared to pay in London before expecting a poorly done haircut?
