Hi,
My husband had 2 vodafone contracts listed on his statement of affairs when he went BR. He didn't really want to get rid of his age old number or contract, just the additional contract but obviously had to list them both. Now he has received a letter from Vodafone to say that they have been contacted by a 3rd party to inform them of his financial problems (OR) but if he rings them to talk things through, they can reduce his outgoings and he can keep his contract with them.
If he gets in touch with them, would that be seen by the OR as favouring a creditor?
Thanks,
Poodle

was the contract in arrears? if so are they willing to wipe that and start again from the day of BR
if he still wants to keep the contract, i think he still has to contact the OR and tell them but as long as he aint paying any arrears off then i think it should be fineIf you want to see the rainbow ,you gotta put up with some rain0 -
No, he wasn't in any arrears, he just wanted to get rid of the contract that is surplus to requirements and keep his regular one.0

He could always just ask them for the PAC which they must supply.
Then he gives this to a new provider, which must be done before the old account is terminate, on pay and go say and within 5 days his number will be transfered to the handset with the pay and go SIM card in it.0 -
He could always just ask them for the PAC which they must supply. NOT if he's still tied to contract they wont....or if the accounts are in debt...
