I am being hounded vby a company called AIC who are a debt collectoprs on behalf of NATWEST. I called them last week (have since found out i should never commuinicate with them by phone) they offered to reduce my debt by 40% if i paid in a lump sum.. 6700.00 made up of 3900 OD and then rest there nasty charges. i advised them i couldn't. they have just called me at work? god knows how they know where i work and i again advised i couldn't pay the lot but that i would put repayment prosoal ion writing to them asap. they said no matter what i offer they are rejecting it unless i pay the whole amount in one go?
What shoud i do now they have my work phone number and will no doubt hound me here!! help please.. Many thanks in advance Kat

they cant force you to make a payment you dont have. I had this as well. firstly get them to remove your work number from the system. then explain your in communication with the CCCS and they will contact them. Contact the CCCS and they will help arrange a repayment plan for you ( mine did and they just offered me £800 off for a lump sum payment) then put in a hardship claim (once you receive the forms from the cccs) to reclaim all the charges...youll need to send the budget plan from the cccs but this can then be used to repay some of the loan you owe hopefully making it more affordable xDebt Total on 02/12/2008 - £14978
Debt owed on 19/03/2009 - £14027
(Make £10 per day in april total £388.67)0
