Gaps in employment history as a student

Hi,
I'm currently filling in a form which states that gaps in employment history should be indicated. I've just finished university during which time i had a variety of part time jobs some of which were term time only so every now and there there are a few months where i wasnt employed.
Do i still need to mention these and that i was still a student at these points? Or are they not worth mentioning because they are gaps of a couple of months and its fairly obvious (i think) that i was a student.
The biggest one is 10 months where i didnt work in my first year, I'd be glad to put full time student under this period as its abit more significant but for the little ones i've no idea
Your thoughts on the matter would be much appreciated.
Thanks

There is nothing wrong with stating that you didnt work cos you were at uni - they just want to know what you have been up to, thats all. I had some gaps when I was at uni, I think its to be expected. Honestly dont worry about it0

Usually when they ask you to explain gaps, they just want to know about times when you weren't doing anything at all. So being in full-time education doesn't really count as a gap at all. I don't think you'd even need to put anything to explain it.0

Agree with ferien above. Basically if the application form asks for education qualifications then I don't mention anything about my that time on this section. If they just ask for work history and to explain any gaps in employment, I say something like, "I was at University from September 2003 to June 2007; during this time I held a number of part time jobs, as detailed above."0
