Hope you can help me to find some books to help me? I am facing redundancie and in my late 40s. I have held various jobs and owned a franchise where the companie went bust. I wanted to plan my future and some side line business to help me if i get laid off again.
As i have too many ideas and not sure where to go next. Anyone know of any good books that help?
thanks Vinny

Hi vji - could you be a bit more specific? Are you looking for information on coping with redundancy or setting up a sideline business?
There is lots of information on the internet relating to both, so no need to by books: my first moneysaving tip!0

I like 'A Bit On The Side' by Jasmie Birtle, v. good for when you need to be bringing in a bit of extra cash. Easy to read too.0

Not sure if I have misunderstood your initial post so bear with me.
I know of a newly qualified life coach who , in order to build up testimonials and a reputation, is offering free coaching sessions.
I think it is done via email, MSN, and/or telephone. Average number of sessions is around 10 (?) - all of which are free.
I just thought that this might help you in your situation, to talk things through, collect your ideas and set up plan of action.
Let me know if you are interested and I will pass on her website details.VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID

            Hi
Kitchen Table Tycoon is excellent - can't remember who wrote it, but it is available on amazon. It has a good section on how to come up with a business idea too.0

            Hi all,
Out of interest how do you qualify as a life coach please? Just wondering what sort of qualifications/experience/personal skills, etc you need? This is quite strange as was only talking along these lines to hubby earlier!
