Hi having a bit of a storecupboard blitz trying to use up before things go too old. I have some wheatgerm I bought to make Wheatgerm Bread, but DH finds it too sweet. Then I have a tupperware tub labelled up "Flakes", not sure don't think they are wheat as they don't look like the cereal type, but more a rolled seed(husk?) looking on google think they may be oat. Think I brought them originally to make bread buns with them on top, but tend to just let the Panny BM do it's thing and make a loaf.

Ideas please.

I've made crackers with wheatgerm before, I remember them being a bit sweet but good with blue cheese.

I also use it on the bottom of pizza bases - I just sprinkle it on the baking sheet (I was trying for that corn type stuff you get with dominios pizza at the time) - but it works as a way of stopping the dough welding itself to the baking tray. :)
