Toots. My last day is the 28th of August. Have only 6 shifts left. DD did not finish her placement as she got swine flu. She is ok now and back on New Deal tomorrow where she will find out if she can go back and do her 2 weeks she had left. If not she starts all over again. Take care x0

hi all
can I please o illustrious leader, be re-added!!! I've fallen so far from the wagon that its taken me ages to get back!!!
Now that we have our own place, we need to keep it the way I want it lol. Plus hubby and I have both registered interest at the local college for a couple of courses. His is during the day part time and mine is part time at nights and weekends. So fingers crossed we would get lucky and be able to do the courses.
Hubby is now signed off with his depression and his cpn has said it would be good for him to go to college, so fingers crossed they let him.
So for now its off to start on some well deserved tidying before i go to bed! I need to tidy the clothes off the bed so that i can get in the darned thing!!!:o
Right will post more later on when I know what kind of progress I have made!

Did manage to conquer the cupboard of doom in the kitchen this afternoon and am so pleased. It has been bugging me for ages. Next time it's the utility room that's on my list. HUGS to all in need!0

I'm back in this week. The Ex has moved out today, considering we split in May it's not a day too soon. He's taken a car load of belongings and will get more over the week. So a huge de-clutter in one day :-/ My DS hasn't even raised an eyebrow so far.... he's autistic so it could have gone either way. I'll settle for the not stressed approach though bless him.
So back on with the lists this week. Nobody to blame but myself for living in a mess now. I've got new sheets on the bed and the Cath Kidston tablecloth is back out as it wasn't allowed before.
Looking forwards....... Thanks to everyone for posting. xxToxic & Tired - Starting 2010 afresh :beer:0 -

.
Yup.....LOADS! I did lewis's room last week- It took me all week  as i did it alone and with three kids under my feet, lewis walked in half way through and sat on his bed. And stuck his foot on the wall. And stuck his foot on the floor. And now i have a teeny green footprint on the carpet hehe:rotfl: It looks ace though, nice pastel green colour but the best bit? the bit we had so much fun doing was his tree! I painted a basic brown tree trunk and for the 'leaves' we all painted our hands in different colours and printed the wall! How fab is that?!!!!
Anyway, hun the house is such a mess it needs painting. The lounge and kitchen are next, bottom of the lounge walls is fine, nice red colour infact, however the top is a grey/yellow tinge from crap paint and smoking....also all the woodwork/ceilings in the house are yellow so need doing. The kitchen is terrible too. Nearly there!
I made bread tonight for the first time, so looking forward to having it with my home made butter....it was so easy to make i couldnt believe it! Oh and one of you(no names pmsl) has already invited herself over i thought id let you all know....I have wine on the go at the moment, A nice merlot, strawberry wine and apricot, when its done should yeild about 42bottles  so fly party at mine anyone? x0 -
