Maybe if you've been getting spam you didn't tick the box when applying that says "No, I do not wish to receive product news, offers and competitions from the Royal Mint. We will not pass your details to third parties."

I always opt out when possible and haven't had any related spam from this.

It does say 4 weeks, so when did you apply? I applied from the OP so should be any time now ish.
