    Afternoon all....hope you're all ok.
Not a lot to report today. Not got a lot I have to do today. But will do a list anyway.
    (1) Go to bank and deposit takings....DONE
    (2)Hoover all of downstairs...DONE
    (3)Polish downstairs...DONE
(4)Start sorting through mountains of household and business paperwork
(5)Put braising steak in slow cooker tonight for tomorrows tea....DONE
    (6)Hoover stairs....DONE
    (7)Buy potaoes for tomorrows tea....DONE

Today will be a NSD(potaoes will be out of shopping budget).
Todays tea (storecupboard etc challenge)...is plaice, mash potatoes, veg and cheese sauce.
I'm going to keep a running total on food spends as well and see how we get on with the storecupboard challenge as every little bit I don't spend can help towards debt.
The insurance broker phoned me earlier to say that so far the cheapest quote he can get me is £1025 which is good as they will still give me PNCD and replacement taxi and the same excess of £350....
This is good as a few wouldn't quote as the claim for the pedestrian is still outstanding with a reserve of £12k....she won't get that amount though but appparently they have to put a reserve on....
He still has another couple of firms to try so I will find out by wednesday...last years quote was about the same as well..so not too bad overall.I have good insurance brokers and the prices are always better than I can find on the net.
Hope you all have a good day.

Good call on the insurance quote (it sounds a little scary but I guess company insurance is a lot more than standard car insurance!), good luck with the paperwork (ack HATE paperwork ), having slept later than I wanted to this morning (guess I am not as well as I hoped!) still having had lunch I am off to clean part of the bathroom and then some clearing of that major hot spot which is the sofa!

I must get on and get dressed and have a walk to bank and get the potatoes...then I can cross a couple of things off the list.
Luckily I cleaned the bathroom the other day....it'sahard job bending into the bath...lol...

I suggested that to him but he'll have none of it and also the water doesn't taste that great here.

Thats what I do - I buy a single water bottle every 6 months or so (cos the plastic goes funny after a while) and keep on refilling it. Since he won't do that, taxi, can't you buy one of those 5 litre things, and refill from that? Surely thats got to be cheaper, and still the same quality/same brand?
