London & County

Hi there,

I've been hearing/reading a lot of good stuff about London & County mortgages. Does anyone know if they can be used to re-mortgage in Northern Ireland?

Has anyone any experience with re-mortgaging with them - is it is easy and straightforward as they say it is? Are they competitive?

Who are the best to get a good fixed rate mortgage of for NI and is it possible to have the interest calculated daily instead of annually as part of the package?

Any comments welcome!

Thanks bud21

  • Don't know about Ireland but I couldn't reccommend them highly enough, quick, efficient, polite, helpful.Plus they give you M and S vouchers if you refer someone else to them ( So if you want to mention my name!! lol)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Another vote for L+C from me too.

However, have a quick scan of the mortgage board and you'll find that some people have been struggling to get through on the phone...I've been using them for 5 years now, so am well known by my broker there!

It may be best to post this query on the mortgage board to get some specific replies for NI.

I'll move this over to the Mortgage board :)

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I personally have a large number of Northern Ireland clients, in my experience the majority of high street lenders will accept mortgage business from Northern Ireland without too much bother at all.
