Many of you will have a feezer full of de-sticked Magnums from the gone but not forgotten Magnum comp like I have and also like me you may be looking for an excuse to buy biccys for the "Bonkers about biscuits" comp starting tomorrow - here's my solution ;)

Magnum P.I.E (thanks to Melvis for the naming :rotfl:)

For the base you will need butter or margarine, and digestives biscuits, preferably from the "Bonkers about biscuits" promo which starts Monday 17th Aug ;)

5732_1138929685445_1593500731_30344281_5433865_n.jpg

Place the amount of biscuits you require in a sandwich or freezer bag (I used 14 biscuits here)

5732_1138929725446_1593500731_30344282_4951570_n.jpg

hold the bag closed and use something sturdy to bash the biscuits

5732_1138929765447_1593500731_30344283_1271311_n.jpg

when you have the desired consistancy, put them in a mixing bowl

5732_1138929845449_1593500731_30344285_4034335_n.jpg

Put the butter/margarine in a small saucepan and gently melt on a very low heat

5732_1138929885450_1593500731_30344286_6709022_n.jpg

when it is completely melted remove from heat

5732_1138929925451_1593500731_30344287_976842_n.jpg

add melted butter/marg to the biscuit crumbs

5732_1138929965452_1593500731_30344288_4053616_n.jpg

mix together well

5732_1138930005453_1593500731_30344289_2581987_n.jpg

in either a lined dish or in this case a loose bottomed cake tin, press the mixture into place then put in the fridge to thoroughly cool

5732_1138930045454_1593500731_30344290_7002652_n.jpg

For the topping: take several packets of de-sticked Magnum ice creams, you can use whatever flavour you like, here I used one white and 5 Classic

5732_1138930085455_1593500731_30344291_6902578_n.jpg

put them in a large mixing bowl

5732_1138930125456_1593500731_30344292_4682786_n.jpg

use a fork at first to break them down a little

5732_1138930165457_1593500731_30344293_6063435_n.jpg

Then use a potato masher to crush them up

5732_1138930205458_1593500731_30344294_224543_n.jpg

once you have a decent consistancy you're ready to get the biscuit base out of the fridge.

5732_1138930285460_1593500731_30344296_2366243_n.jpg

place half the mixture on top of the biscuit base and push into place with a spoon or fork

5732_1138930325461_1593500731_30344297_513661_n.jpg

drizzle a good amount of toffee and chocolate dessert sauce (or any other flavour) over the first layer

5732_1138930365462_1593500731_30344298_7417852_n.jpg

Add the second half of the mixture and again press into place with a spoon or fork.

5732_1138930405463_1593500731_30344299_2605404_n.jpg

finish off with generous and artistic drizzlings from your sauce then place in the freezer to reset until you are ready for it. When you are ready to eat it press out the bottom of the loose bottom tin or pull off the paper lining and serve in slices :) yummy

(pic of turned out article later this evening) xxxx
