I was just checking this too but no date or indication of when to use by:confused:. Usually there would be a 12M or 24M date to signal that once you open it you should use it within 12 or 24 months for example. Wonder why these have no indication:confused:

Maybe this is why there going cheap???

Don't know who was more shocked me or the Sales assistant.

Nice one picked up 4 bottles yesterday. Just a shame 15 was the lowest available.

If it is the gel then just a word of warning PLEASE DO NOT use it on the face but myself & MIL did & it really stings & our skin went really red. (we had to wash it off quickly) it was ok on the rest of the body although it does go a little bitty.

As previously mentioned the sprays/lotion are better.

    Still a good price.

It sounds like it has gone off. Be very careful using this in very hot weather (abroad) as it will not offer you any (or reduced) protection. I made the mistake of buying some cheap suncream (I'm sure it was ambre solaire too) one year from boots that was on clearance. I used it while on holiday in north africa and I burnt and came out in prickly heat. It was factor 20 too:eek: it went streaky and bitty when I applied it.

Ours was factor 30!! But I get on fine with their factor 30 spray, no streaks or bittyness.

it does state quite clearly on my bottle several times"Do not use on the face".I have aslo noticed a helpline number which might be useful if anyone is concerned that there is no expiry.I think its probably due to it containing alcohol.
  • Thanks for the post, the stcok in our local store, although hard tofind (towards the back), even had the shelf strips with the right price £1 printed on them, had the last eight bottles on display ready for my october trip to Sri lanka!
