:huh:expecting our first in december and would like to know if anyone knows of any good solid wood nursery furniture (sleigh bed, wardrobe, drawers)
i know there is a big mark up in this kind of stuff and delivery to northern ireland is pretty much non existent. i know someone out there knows something which is useful to me.
i remember buying the next catalogue mango wood furniture from a fella at coleraine for a third of the price they sold it at. just wish i still had his details to see if he done nursery furniture. PLEASE HELP US.

Have you had a look at kiddicare.com? You might find something on there. I know delivery to NI is bit pricey but you may find something with a good discount. Mothercare is fine for nursery furniture. They also do a baby club that lets you pay so much into it until you are ready to collect your items.oooooooh i luv a bargain0 -
Also I think goin for a cotbed is a better investment as you will be able to use it for longer! I have used the same cotbed for all my kids and just bought a new mattress each time.:beer:oooooooh i luv a bargain0

Well, if you are heading to newtownabbey direction, there is a shop called 'SWAG', in the old 'budget diy' building at the roundabout at the Abbey Centre. They do really lovely wooden furniture, cots etc........ cheap
Then next door to SWAG there is a baby shop.
Hope this helps, all the best,

Try Tesco Direct http://direct.tesco.com/q/N.1999974/Nr.99.aspx
As far asI know, you can use your Clubcard vouchers for double their value in the Nursery Department.0
