As the trousers and jacket went through I noticed it had taken 3p off trousers and 40p off jacket so new it wouldnt take coupon, rushed and got 98p pack of three socks and handed the cashier both £5 coupons and they both went through. My total bill was £47.32 then reduced to £37.32. I do not know if the second coupon went through on food or clothes but am very pleased.
You could have grabbed clothing worth about £2.50 (instead of the 98p) and another Sunday Mail at £1.50 - then used another £5 non-food (SA willing). Two non-clothing mocs do work against any £50+ shop and you were soooo close to that figure!
I had a lovely SA today. When my fiver off clothing moc beeped I soon spotted that some pj's had scanned at half price, so sent my DS to grab a second pair. Till still beeped at the fiver coupon, wouldn't allow it. There was no queue so the SA got out a pen and between us, we did some sums on the back of a receipt roll and found that I had underspent the £25 needed on clothing, by 12p!
So I asked her to void the second pair of pj's and scan instead, a second pack of socks - which were 15p more than the pj's. Sent DS off as my runner again, lol!
Job done, spent around £35 - including 4 x Herbal Essences to use the £2.50 off H&B and to gain the extra points - and after mocs I paid 4p.:T:D:rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
