Help! Pear and Apple Spread recipes please

Hi everyone,
I bought some Pear and Apple Spread recently, which I remembered buying years ago and making cakes with.
Too late, I realised I have no idea where the recipe went that I used to make, and I've discovered I don't really like the stuff on its own.
Does anyone use it? Actually, I'd quite like to use it to make flapjacks, but last time I tried to make a cake without a recipe I made a pig's ear of it and I'm reluctant to waste good oats and butter!
Hope someone can help! I can't bear to bin it.
