I've had Your Move send me a letter today informing me that their commission for selling my house £20k under the asking price will be the princely sum of £2200. Easy money huh. They've also informed me that my saintly ex-partner has agreed to pay half (how nice of him considering he's filthy rich and him not keeping his pecker in his trousers is what caused the house to be sold in the first place!!!) and that they want the other half from me in the next seven days OR ELSE!
Now then, I'm assuming I can add this onto my list of mean nasties trying to scare money out of me for the OR to contact and give the good news to (please correct me if im wrong!)? But in the meantime, what do I tell them? That I'm in contact with a debt management agency and I'll contact them again shortly? Or just avoid all communication until I've pootled into court and out again with my big rubber stamped documents? Or do I say, I'm in the process of petitioning for my own bankruptcy and will be in touch? But then if I do that they may tell my ex who will panic about the shortfall and could do something to get his name taken off it?
Not that I want any kind of revenge on him of course :A

IF you feel strong enough to tell that yes....WHATEVER you do though DONT TELL THEM about your bankruptcy impending...they'll hassle you even more Or just avoid all communication until I've pootled into court and out again with my big rubber stamped documents? then its the OR's problem! Or do I say, I'm in the process of petitioning for my own bankruptcy and will be in touch? As above all that will do is increase the hassle! But then if I do that they may tell my ex who will panic about the shortfall and could do something to get his name taken off it?
